Bed bug eggs can survive initial treatment. A follow-up visit ensures any newly hatched bugs are eliminated before they can reproduce. We don't consider the job done until the infestation is fully eliminated.
Important: There is no single treatment that eliminates bed bugs in one visit. Anyone who tells you otherwise isn't being honest with you. Effective bed bug treatment requires at least two visits to break the egg cycle.
How to Prepare for Treatment
Proper preparation is critical to the success of bed bug treatment. We'll give you a full prep checklist when you book, but key steps include:
- Wash and heat-dry all bedding, clothing, and curtains
- Vacuum mattresses, furniture, and floors thoroughly
- Reduce clutter to allow full access to treatment areas

- Plan to be out of the treated area for several hours post-treatment
If you spot a bug, capture it in a sealed bag or jar and take a photo. Confirming it's actually a bed bug (and not a carpet beetle or other look-alike) helps us come prepared with the right treatment from the start.
